Lifeguard Training

American Red Cross –Lifeguarding and First Aid 3 Year certification, CPR/AED 1 Year

This course prepares participants for employment as lifeguards.  Key features include: Lifeguard Training, First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED Essentials, Oxygen Administration for the Professional Rescuer, Preventing Disease Transmission, Water park and Waterfront Lifeguarding.  The course content and activities prepares candidates to recognize and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, so they can prevent drownings and injuries.

CPR

American Heart Association - BLS for Healthcare Providers – 2 Year Certification

The Healthcare Provider Course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages.  Other skills include ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relief of a foreign-body airway obstruction.   It is intended for participants who provide healthcare to patients in a wide variety of settings.
